With over 30 years of experience, Ty has consistently demonstrated his deep understanding of business and his ability to develop innovative campaigns that drive revenue and profit growth.
Born in Wharton, TX, Ty's journey to success began at a young age. Raised by his grandmother and surrounded by music in church, Ty discovered his passion for singing and playing the drums. Despite a promising football career, a devastating knee injury and a bad decision in 1992 led Ty to pursue his natural God given calling in music.
Starting as an intern at Yab Yum records, Ty worked his way through various departments under Tracey Edmonds & Kenny "Babyface" Edmond's. Ty has learned a great deal from industry giants such as Chaka Khan, John Lewis Parker, Steve Kipner, Rick James, and Prince. He has worked with or consulted several of the biggest celebrities, actors, athletes, influencers, producers, singers, rappers, and songwriters. From Will Smith to Cedric the Entertainer, from Shaq to Dwight Freeney, from 2Pac & Aaliyah to DMX & Teyana Taylor. Today, Ty holds an executive position at Edmonds Entertainment, as well as LookHu, RAG, Porter Craig Film & Media, FlippedOut Entertainment, Advent Entertainment, & he is also a silent partner at 2 large media companies. He co-founded Single Life Entertainment and Allcity Transportation and is the Managing Director of Alpha Magazine. Ty continues to consult on numerous projects, live events, films, and TV shows.
